MISSION

The Mighty Oaks Foundation is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and their families as they recover from trauma and rediscover purpose in life. Through intensive, peer-led recovery and resiliency programs offered at no cost to participants—including spiritually grounded Legacy Programs and ongoing Outposts—Mighty Oaks equips individuals with tools for emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. Their work also extends globally with international resiliency initiatives, powerful advocacy efforts, and impactful speaking engagements that raise awareness about the unique challenges these communities face. 

Mighty Oaks’ comprehensive approach combines immersive week-long retreats, community support, and leadership development to help participants overcome adversity and cultivate lasting hope. By empowering graduates to mentor others and partnering with churches, corporations, and policymakers, Mighty Oaks not only restores lives but also fosters resilient communities where strength, purpose, and legacy thrive.
